Dear
Life Centers supporter,
Take a look at the photo to the right. You'll see the face of my beautiful
daughter, Isabelle. I cannot imagine that I was considering throwing
her precious life away.
You see, I came to Life Centers because I was considering abortion. I had
never heard of a crisis pregnancy center, but I got the wrong
directions to the abortion clinic and ended up at the Life Centers center
instead. So when I went in, I still thought I was there for
an abortion.
I thank God I met a counselor that day named Machelle. She talked
to me about faith in Christ, gave me the truth about abortion, and
discussed my relationship with my boyfriend at the time. Three
hours later Idecided not to have the abortion, and
I left with a little more hope. Throughout my entire pregnancy
the counselor kept calling me, and the fact that she cared meant so
much.
Two weeks after my precious daughter was born, I got a phone call
message that said, "That baby should have been born by now, and I
really hope that everything is going okay. I've been praying for you.
I haven't forgotten you."
I am now married to the father of my baby, and I am celebrating life
in Christ my Savior. I'm thankful to be able to regularly talk with
Machelle. I've also taken the counselor training so I can help women
in the same situation I was. I recently had a fantastic time with
my mother-in-law and children walking at this year's Walk
for Life - you can see in the picture that I even made my
own t-shirt!
I'm deeply grateful to everyone at Life Centers, and I hope you continue
supporting moms in crisis, like I was. Because you supported me when
I was considering abortion, my baby Isabelle now has life!
